FACULTY
Angie Ackerman is a Yoga Association of Alberta (YAA) certified Training Teacher. She is also 1 of only 7 ERYT 500’s teaching in Northern Alberta. ERYT 500 is the highest level of training teacher offered by the Yoga Alliance (YA).
Additional certifications include:
Angie assisted with the Yoga for Today Teacher Training Program from 2005-2008. In 2009/10 she facilitated the program in addition to monthly intensives at From Within (2010/11). She also has the pleasure of hosting Yoga Holidays to wonderful warm places. Trips include Greece, Cuba, Maui & the Dominican Republic.
Angie believes in “practicing what you preach” and therefore attends several yoga classes/week, as well as weekend workshops & ongoing training.
Curiosity brought Angie to her first yoga class. It was love at first try. The meditative & spiritual qualities of the practice have kept her dedicated.
Yoga completely changed her life. She gave up a successful (stressful) career to share her passion for yoga with others. As a little girl Angie dreamt of being a teacher & now she is living that dream.
“It is an incredible feeling to wake up every morning & love your life.”
